Anna Sharkey

In 2018, Anna Sharkey was named the new Global Head of Talent at S&P Global, overseeing Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Diversity & Inclusion. Previously, Anna served as a strategic business partner to the S&P Global Market Intelligence executive team, building and executing human capital plans, aligning talent initiatives and leading change management initiatives. She led a global team of HR business partners who worked with division leadership to contribute to the strategic vision of the organization through proactive, intelligent human capital management.

Before joining S&P Global, Anna spent 11 years with Barclay’s Bank working out of Johannesburg, London and New York. At Barclay's, she served as the HR business partner for Global Infrastructure, Corporate & Investment Bank, where she led enterprise-wide programs for 18,000+ global employees while supporting seven global business units under the investment banking umbrella.

Anna holds an MBA in HR Management from the University of Wales in Cardiff and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Lund University in Sweden.
