Jack Rivers, MSc, BSc

Jack Rivers is a Director of Technical Research within our central content team focused across S&P Global Commodity Insights - E&P content, asset valuation and Upstream Intelligence offerings.

Jack leads the central content team which comprises of several sub-teams focused on Fields, Prospects and Basins content for our Upstream EDIN product. The central content team also includes experts for our Vantage and Petrodata products. He also leads the content evolution for the Global Exploration & Production Service (GEPS) product. Jack has held various roles at S&P Global, including working closely with all aspects of the company's energy database and Upstream Intelligence deliverables. Prior to joining S&P Global in 2009, he worked as a Geotechnical Engineer for a number of years.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from the University of Plymouth and a Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience from Royal Holloway University, United Kingdom.
