Rodrigo Guantes primary responsibility within S&P Global Mobility is to create a consistent Powertrain Forecast for the North American region.
To this end, he monitors industry, market trends and customer adoption levels, as well as the OEMs' strategies and their production capacities; understands regional and country-specific regulations and incentives to balance the share of the available and future launches of the multiple powertrain offerings.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Rodrigo spent 4+ years at an OEM where his focus was on production planning. In this role, he was responsible for balancing demand and capacity, planning current and future production levels, and working closely among multiple internal stakeholders to ensure the plant ran effectively.
