Dr. Piotr Gawenda is in charge of publishing Global E & P Services on countries in Central and Eastern Europe including Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia.
Piotr completed M.Sc. in Geology at Jagiellonski University in Krakow, Poland, and obtained degree of Dr.Sci.Nat in Geology at Swiss Federal Polytechnics in Zürich (ETH Zürich). His professional interests include sedimentology, basin modeling, development of petroleum systems, petroleum market development and analysis. He is author and co-author of several articles, posters and presentations on geology, petroleum systems and E & P activities in Europe and Africa. Tracking development of European unconventional market since its inception in 2007, Piotr, focusing on Poland, was an active member of S&P Global preparing a multi-client study on the continent's resource potential.
