Lauren Droege

Senior Analyst, Upstream Research

Lauren Droege is a Senior Analyst supporting the North America Onshore team , S&P Global Commodity Insights in the greater Commercial Plays and Basins group.

Lauren's expertise include well log analysis and interpretation, geologic mapping and spatial analysis, and commercial valuation of plays and assets. In her current role, her focus is to integrate extensive geologic, well, and production data using Petra, ESRI ArcMap, and Tableau to identify spatial and economic trends across ~20 major Lower 48 unconventional plays to predict and evaluate future play potential.

Prior to joining S&P Global, Lauren was a Geologist at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where she identified several recomplete opportunities, as well as areas with geologic upside potential in Central-East Texas on the Austin Chalk-Eaglebine team.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, and a Master of Science in Geosciences from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado.
